When is the Final Assessment held?
We hold final assessments at our centre in Hertfordshire regularly (every 8 weeks) throughout the year.
Students will be required to meet for refreshments at 09:30 for an 10:00 start.
If you cannot attend our assessment centre we can arrange for you to take your final assessment at your chosen location via webcam. You therefore have complete flexibility and control.
Qualification
VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies
Description
This course comprehensively covers Anatomy and Physiology and Pathology for all body systems. There are 72 conditions covered in the Pathology tutorial - six per body system.
There are self-assessments in the course which you can use to evaluate you progress through each section as you work through the tutorial - these assessments are multiple choice, taken online, and you can take them as many times as you wish!
Your coursework consists of essential knowledge evidence assessments (EKEs) which assess the learning outcomes listed below. These are also multiple choice assessments taken online within our learning management system.
We have a comprehensive mock final assessment for you to use on the system to prepare for the final exam. You can take this as many times as you wish.
The final assessment consists of two papers externally set by the VTCT. They are multiple choice, taken online and the pass mark for each paper is 70%.
Only Anatomy and Physiology is assessed in the final exam.
